How do I find a Shutterstock image ID number? There are several ways to do this. The techniques work the same for finding the ID of a Shutterstock video, as well.

ON THE SHUTTERSTOCK WEBSITE

If you are on the Shutterstock website, you can find the ID of an image below the image on the asset detail page. Scroll down below the individual image and you will see in grey text “Item ID: xxxxxx”. The image ID number is just above the image’s title or editorial caption on the left. The same is true for a video.

Alternatively, when you are on the asset detail page, you can also find the image ID in the URL.

The video ID for a clip can be found in the URL before the title of the clip.
