A blanket of fresh snow covered the earth.  The clouds parted, and the sun came pouring out.

I grabbed my camera went to one of my favorite place: Sundance.

Home of the famous Sundance Film Festival, Sundance is a short 15 drive up the canyon from my house.  It’s allure is overpowering, and I go there often.  It’s my little escape.

This image captures a lone snowboarder coming down the final descent of the run.  I waited a long time for just a single rider to appear over the hill.  It’s taken with FujiColor Slide film and cross processed, giving the color palette that extra oomph.
